Requirements

Compensation
Compensation is determined for each applicant based on relevant skills, experience, and certifications.
The Sun Java certifications and/or Microsoft .NET certifications are one of the keys to your success in this position, therefore pay raises are tied to these certifications. Your work will directly involve these technologies which will enable you to pass these certifications quickly.

There are also many other certifications associated with DB2 and WebSphere that you can branch into based on your interests once you have developed your basic programming skills. If you add a few certifications to your list of accomplishments, you will see that your salary will increase dramatically. You can also increase your take home pay by working regular additional hours. You can work 80 hour weeks and double your pay. In addition, we offer periodic bonuses based on performance and successful project completions.
Certifications are not the only way to success. If you can read on your own and retain and apply new knowledge, then you can bypass having to learn irrelevent "pass the test" knowledge and focus squarely on learning to solve real problems and to improve your professional capabilities. While certifications help to justify pay, productivity, problem solving ability, good design skills, effective communication, and learning from past mistakes are the real keys to success in software development.
