NCOA - National Change of Address
Do you know where your customers are?
Introduction
National Change of Address (NCOA) helps mailers keep track of the 17% of Americans who change their address every year. With so many of your customers moving annually, DuoShare offers a way for you to stay in touch with your customers. Our solution - always include NCOA as part of DuoShare Address Quality Services.
With over 44 million Americans moving every year, the task of keeping up with such a large number of addresses would be incredibly difficult for your business to manage on its own. Over 40 million Americans fill out a Change of Address Form with the Post Office™ annually, which creates formidable obstacles in maintaining high-quality, accurate address lists for your business. DuoShare Address Quality Services allow mailers to keep track of customers without the hassle of investigating each individual customer’s whereabouts.
How does NCOA work?
When one of your customers fills out a Change of Address Form at the Post Office or on the USPS® website, it is entered into the USPS National Change of Address database. When you process your address list using DuoShare Address Quality Services, an attempt is made to match their name and address against the USPS database. If your customer’s name or address exists in the NCOA database, DuoShare Address Quality Services automatically updates that mailing address within your list, making for a simple and automatic solution.
Privacy Act of 1974
DuoShare Address Quality Services comply with regulations set out by the Privacy Act of 1974. This act outlines the guidelines for how data of personal nature, such as the names and addresses on your list, must be treated. In short, DuoShare will not share your data with any third parties.
